Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts, boiled and cut into pieces
- 1 bunch broccoli, cooked and cut into “trees”
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
- 1 1/2 Tbs lemon juice
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 3 slices bread, broken into small pieces
- Butter
Directions
Arrange broccoli in 9×13” pan. Mix soup, milk, Miracle Whip, lemon juice and
3/4 cup cheese. Add chicken to soup mixture. Spread on top of broccoli.
Melt butter in a pan, once melted, add bread pieces. Toss and cook until browned. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake at 350˚ for 30 minutes.
It goes great with Winder Dairy fruit punch. If we’re out, Brett will borrow some from the Jacobsen’s.
