Angel Aunt Evelyn

Ingredients

• 1 cup sifted flour
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1-1/3 cup buttermilk
• 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 3 Tbs oil

Directions

Sift dry ingredients together. Add buttermilk to beaten egg, then dry ingredients, then the oil.

If batter is a little stiff, add a bit more buttermilk. Spray waffle iron with Pam and bake.

This recipe works for pancakes too.
