Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 melted shortening, not oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 5 tsp soda
- 1 (15 oz) package Raisin Bran cereal
- 2 tsp salt
- 5 cups flour
Directions
Mix all in large bowl. Put in a container with a tight lid and store in refrigerator. Use as needed. Let stand in refrigerator a few days before first batch. Do not re-stir, just fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 400˚ for 15–20 minutes.
