Spicy Hummus

 

  • 1 (15.5-oz) can semi-drained garbanzo beans, reserving 1/3 liquid for texture
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 2 Tbs tahini
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Dash(es) cayenne, depending on spice level
  • 1-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, depending on spice level
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Pinch salt
  • Garnish: 3 whole garbanzo beans, chopped tomatoes, and onions

Toss all ingredients in a blender and blend. Add additional liquid as needed. John’s recipe. De-LISH-ous.
